The last time Marseille participated in the Champions League was in the 13/14 season. At that time, they lost all 6 rounds on group stage and were eliminated early. Since then, Marseille has missed the Champions League for 5 consecutive seasons. In 1993, Marseille defeated AC Milan with 1:0 in the final of Champions League, becoming the only one French team that has won the Champions League so far.
