Tottenham Hotspur: Important week ( Recent Form: L W L W L )

Tottenham Hotspur has dropped to seventh place in the Premier League and really has to go all out to finish in the top-4. The deficit on Chelsea, currently the number four, has risen to six points after last weekend. On Sunday, Chelsea was 0-2 too strong for José Mourinho and his team and there was nothing to deny about that defeat. Tottenham did not play a good game against Chelsea and also saw that Heung-Min Son received a direct red card. The South Korean kicked after and therefore has to miss the next three games. The suspension of Son does pave the way for Ryan Sessegnon - the top talent taken over from Fulham is expected in the base on Boxing Day. Without Son, Tottenham will play three important games in the coming week. First the duel with Brighton & Hove Albion awaits and next week there will also be away games at Norwich City and Southampton on the program for Tottenham. Three games that totten nine points to Tottenham if the Spurs actually want to make the connection with the top 4 of the Premier League.

Brighton & Hove Albion: Play two games within 48 hours ( Recent Form: L W D D L )

At Brighton & Hove Albion they have the feeling that there might be something to be gained on Boxing Day when The Seagulls are guests at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The Graham Potter team must have a good day to get a good result in North London, but it is certainly not impossible. Brighton is the number thirteen of the Premier League and - seen in football - has not a bad team. It must all go really crazy if this Brighton is going to be in degradation need. Just like Tottenham, Brighton also went down in a home game last weekend. At the American Express Community Stadium, The Seagulls received a visit from Sheffield United and the game was lost 0-1 to the Potter team. The club from South East England has now won only one of the last seven league games and can use it again. Brighton plays a home game against AFC Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 PM, which has one point less, and it is therefore not inconceivable that Potter will rotate somewhat in the Tottenham game.

After all, Tottenham have scored 14 goals in the last 5 matches in the Premier League. However, the home team's defense is also not sure with 6 times to concede. Meanwhile, Brighton have only 6 goals in the past 5 matches but have left to reach 7 goals. Chances are this match will have many goals scored.
