MATCH PREVIEW

MAIN PREDICTION: HOME WIN

QPR slipped down to 11th place on Wednesday night as they were handed a 3-0 drubbing by a well-drilled Cardiff side away from home. The London club had won four league matches in a row but have now suffered back-to-back defeats and manager Mark Warburton now faces a huge clash at home against Blackburn this weekend.

Blackburn turned in an impressive display on Tuesday as they picked up a point at home against an in-form Nottingham Forest side. Tuesday night’s hosts had previously lost 2-1 at home against Luton in disappointing fashion but were arguably the better side in midweek.

They may have gone off the rails somewhat in the last seven days, but Mark Warburton has shown plenty of reasons to keep faith in this QPR side.

SECOND PREDICTION: HILO – HIGH

Over 2.5 total goals have been scored in six of QPR’s last seven league games and in 11 of Blackburn’s last 13 away Championship matches. Neither side have been convincing at the back this season so this game could be a goal-fest.

HEAD TO HEAD

Blackburn have won all of the last four competitive games between the sides in league and cup.
